There is a heartbeat
But it is missing the heart
There is pavement
But it is missing the streets
There is a bird in flight
But it is missing the wings
There is thoughtfulness
But it is missing the thought
There is a painting
But it is missing the canvas
There is progress
But it is missing the direction
There is sunshine
But it is missing the sun
There is a completion
Yet it is incomplete
Allow, allow, allow
To find the missing link
Or to let it be
