Memories of our loved ones,

Always in our hearts they will be,
Like the gentle breeze on a hot summer day,
Whisper in ear or a kiss on the cheek,
Smell of the flower,
Blossoming of the trees,
Water in the creeks,
Smoke on the mountain they shall be,
Not always mild often strong they maybe,
Binding with emotions their visits will be,
As you lay them to rest,
Their promise to thee,
There is best to come,
And yet there is the best to see.
