The urban dictionary defines, soulmate as "A person with whom you have an immediate connection the moment you meet -- a connection so strong that you are drawn to them in a way you have never experienced before. As this connection develops over time, you experience a love so deep, strong and complex, that you begin to doubt that you have ever truly loved anyone prior. Your soulmate understands and connects with you in every way and on every level, which brings a sense of peace, calmness and happiness when you are around them. And when you are not around them, you are all that much more aware of the harshness of life, and how bonding with another person in this way is the most significant and satisfying thing you will experience in your lifetime. You are also all that much aware of the beauty in life, because you have been given a great gift and will always be thankful." That's a long definition. Merriam Webster defines, "soul mate noun : a close friend who completely understands you : a person who has the same beliefs and opinions as another person."
I looked on the internet for resources. I researched some books. I spoke with few friends. All I was attempting was to understand in the process was reflect on my own thought.
Where world misconstrues it as a term. It is way simpler yet it's intriguingly complicated. We define in tangible terms. We process it in tangible terms. We look for a soul mate in a tangible form. We look for physical looks. We seek a person who would act or behave alike us. We yearn for a connection of heart and mind. Thus everything is perishable and tangible. We hear someone stating we found a soulmate, they act like them, behave like them, think like them, participate like them. Thus, deducting we are all looking to be with someone exactly like ourselves. Do we really want that?
Being compatible with someone is often misunderstood for finding a soulmate.
Whilst a soul mate, our twin flame is a part of us. There is no set criteria how to identify it. It is just a knowing. It is that spark that lights up within when you are in close proximity. This feeling is independent of sensuality, sexuality, or any physicality what so ever. The clear connection that establishes goes beyond the words, emotions, thoughts and feelings. It always is there. It rests in the peacefulness. It cradles in its tranquility. Along with this, simple awareness that your soul mate exists, should alone be enough to quench that thirst to know. It is not a necessity that you and your twin flame translate into conventional romantic terms.
No process can clearly state how to identify your soulmate. No one, and no one can create or produce the feeling that sparkles in your soul when you are brushed with your twin flame. No research can bring it forward that which dwells within your own skin and flesh, and that flows within your energies. When your soulmate is near you'll automatically know. When you experience them pass by your body measures the impulse yet the soul become vigilant. It seeks and looks and yearns for its twin flame.
Absolutely one would imagine you would like to be with your soulmate. Life is incomplete with getting together with them. However, it might also be true, that your soulmate exists in the bird that flew by you, the grain of sand that came home with you from the beach, the delicious fillet of fish you ate for dinner last night, the purring cat, the wagging tail or the glistening blade of grass, there is no boundaries to whom just might be your twin flame.
Simple words, when your own flame flickers in someone's presence, you might, just might be close enough to your twin flame. You two are the only ones that can identify that, if that. The eternal twin flame always dwells within you just like we dwell within them.
