What am I doing!?

Chapter 11 from the book “The Law of Divine Compensation” by Marianne Williamson, Page 122-123 reads, “The best way to summon your true calling is to put yourself in service of God.”

Aha! is all I thought when I read this highlighted quote.

GOD often is viewed as all things positive. Perhaps so, however, I believe, GOD is ALL Things, ALL Experiences, ALL Creation and more. We all chose our purpose in life which inherently is God-given and this universe is the stage for it.

Often we are thinking of money as only a mean to end. So if you feel trapped in this cycle, think again and think hard. When we say, I look for work to make life flow, to make enough to pay the bills, lead us to a web of obligation towards the flowing energies of out universe. Sounds, confusing isn’t it. It may, it just may so.

Upon, my few conversations this past weekend, on different occasions, I was reminded, why those that are affluent are where they are. Simple, response to this thought was, because they choose to do what they are most passionate about.

Warren Buffet, Dalai Lama, Thich Nit Hahn, Steve Harvey, Oprah Winfrey, successful athletes, professionals, artists, humanitarians, and more are where they are because they made up their minds as to what they are good at and they persevered to get better at it with each passing experience. The successful people do not see what they do as work but see it as their calling aka purpose. They show up each day to fulfill their purpose as best as they can, usually always giving their best each day.

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life. And the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking, and don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart you’ll know when you find it.” – Steve Jobs

We are all Divine Co-Creators! We are here to create best versions of ourselves within the divine order of creation. We have our innate talents and gifts, we must recognize it and go on honing the skill set that adds value to our purpose. Our purpose is to be the best version of ourselves each day better than yesterday.
